NEW ICS leak .238

I also had horrible battery life on 232 but after a factory data reset after freshly reinstalling it, it seems much better.

Only since I've been on 232 have I had problems with losing media sound. It will work then not. Almost like another app has not released hold of it for other use. No new apps have been introduced or used. I'm consistent in that sense.

don't know if it's the same problem I had, but my Bionic has been doing that since I got it. I thought the same thing - but even after multiple updates/resets/downgrades the problem never went away. Then it started shutting down and sometimes not booting up for a while - Again, I thought this was some kind of firmware issue but no firmware updates/downgrades would fix it. Eventually it stopped booting completely and I was told that this was all part of the same hardware failure - probably bad contacts somewhere. I got a replacement (refurb) and haven't had the problem since.

Update* ive been having sporatic volume issues since installing 238. Sometime ill go to play a video or listen to a song and itll be completely mute regardless of where the volume is set.

Ill have to either make a call or restart the phone to get the volume back.

I had the same problem.. I found a quick fix though. When it mutes like that, I hit the home key and press on the volume. It will change the ringer volume and I'll hear a tone. It seems to work after that. Other than that, I get great battery life on 238.

Alright so even with as long as I've been here, I still have no idea what cheesecake means, in regards to Android. Would someone mind filling me in here? Google is being a smartalec and trying to get me to eat a delicious treat.

Cheesecake is an app that someone developed to allow you to change what server your update is checking so you can look for leaked updates on the different moto servers.

Yup. It says "sync is currently experiencing problems".

I havent had any problems with mine.

I do know that most people reporting issues have either did the quick not loose data script, or didnt do a factorg reset.

I initially had an endless reboot because of an error where "motorola software" crashed after using the dont loose data script to go from 232 to 238, but once i booted into recovery and did a factory reset everything was fixed.
