If your .905 is stock you can just flash in stock recovery like you would if it was OTA... People have all their apps in that scenario.. And they are "upgraded" for use in ics.
If you've made changes that prevent that then you'll need to fxz to .905 which means you'll be a clean slate. Don't bother adding apps yet, just upgrade to .232 (I wouldn't use any leak later than .232) and then install your apps.
If you use a backup program only restore apps and apps data--no system stuff from GB or you'll end up having issues.
Edit: After using HoB I would send anyone interested in leaks to a HoB thread, you can flash leak and not lose data... Read the FAQs, though....
