I cant use my desktop until I'm home tomorrow... I'd really like to have ICS by the morning- I never ever used the desktop for my OG Droid tho. I always used my laptop

Yes. The one you have is for 901. Shouldn't matter. The point is to get back to stock, do the ota updates, and then install ICS.

i click start in rsd... it switches my phone into fastboot mode... then it says FAILED: the phone failed to switch to fastboot mode

Dude- I know exactly what I need to do. The fastboot part is just not working. If you were in my situation you wouldnt just say fastboot wont work. Guess I wasnt meant to have ICS. I want it soooo bad!

thank you.... pathsaver got my hopes up because it appeasred to be working but with a ton of errors... but it never said there was a problem... t never went to the green android like it said it would... but it just rebooted. I hope so bad that it says im on version 902

finally.. wow.. its amazing how much better this is.. and i havent even really done anything yet, namely hooked into my lapdock.. btw sorry to gloat jwilly but ive been working on this damn thing for a while too.. hopefully you will join us soon though
