New ICS Leak for Bionic

What is the method to remove forever root??? I may or maynot be forever rooted. Anyway to know if I am? How ti remove? I've yet to see this info would be good for others.

The most unfrustrating way is to simply fbz the 902 image. It is not is hard as it sounds. In most cases this is the ideal solution.

I just went to the moto website and downloaded the moto device manager and cleaned and updated my drivers. Bionic pops up perfect in rsd lite while booted up but once I boot it into Fastboot, it's gone. I tried my old laptop with the older version of RsdLite that I used to root my OG Droid but no luck on there either...Please don't give up on me yet! I've been waiting and waiting every day looking for an ICS leak

When I try to start rsdlite while Bionic is fully booted, it used to switch to fastboot and then error. Now it says Unable to switch to Fastboot.

I get that it isn't hard. But what is annoying is getting everything back that you had, even with backup. So if there is another way that doesn't involve fxz (wiping it all) I would at least like to explore this option.

Sure I've posted it a few times now on different forums. You should use root explorer to edit /system/bin/mount_ext3.sh and remove the chmod lines at the bottom. Leave the cursor on the beginning of the line after the last fi line... Basically hit enter at the fi line. Save it. Done.

We need to start teaching people how to use the fxz xml that leaves the user data in tact I think. That truly is the quickest and least painful method.

Yea also good advice. And make sure to use the cable that came with your phone.

Yeah im not sure about the bionic but some phones cant use an ordinary cable when it comes to flashing. Usually the cable that comes with the phone is required which is considered a factory cable that has the ability to put the phone in a special mode for flashing the firmware.

It seems to be somewhat true of the bionic as well. Sadly I misplaced mine. I hope it's in my camera bag as I'm sure I'll need it soon.

Is there any other possible way to do this besides RSDLite??? If I dont have ICS by the morning I'm gonna commit mobile suicide.

I KNOW there is someone on here smart enough to solve my issue. This is a matter of Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich, people!!! Have mercy!
