New Launcher : ADW

yes, those are pretty slick features
ADW settings, UI Settings, Secondary ActionButtons, you were looking too closely, you need to keep your face near the droid only when on the phone silly
Newbie/Noob typing here with questions... First off, this helped me out alot trying to figure things out...thanks...secondly, I am running a Home Switcher to toggle back and forth from HelixLauncher and ADW(just recently added) to see which one i like better...On the ADW quick app drawer launcher, i finally figured out :r_c: how to add another quick launcher, but the ones they give you, Browers and Phone, i dont want on there...how do you customize it to have the ones you want...
Also, i found out when u hard press the app drawer for to long, it disappears and i cant get it back without going back into the settings to change things up, then finally it shows back up...
Any help at all is very much appreciated....thanks again

I don't know. LP just has some issues with FCs. I wouldn't sayi t's bad. A lot of people here run (IMO) too many widgets. I have many myself, but I don't run into FC loops with Launcher Pro. In fact the new LauncherPro that just came out today is freaking fast as it has some mem hack for Droids/Milestones. It's BLAZING fast and smokes ADW completely in that respect.
I still would like ADW to fix the Home button zoom lag on sense previews (somehow pinchzoom sense preview is completely smooth), and maybe bring about some faster screen scrolling to match LauncherPro and I'll be completely won over.

I guess I just don't see what everyone else sees. With scrolling speed + elastic bounce set to 0 ADW has the fastest scroll I've ever seen, definitely faster than LauncherPro.
Everyone keeps using the widgets as an excuse. I've read forums & people with four screens and only two widgets have still had issues. I KNOW that one of the issues Launcherpro has that seems to be the widget everyone uses..is Beautiful Widgets. Everyone who has a complaint with it...has one of those widgets on their screen.
Also...the issue with tryign to change the bottom dock, and it lagging to load apps and whatnot...I cant do.

Well Duh!!! That was the only thing I didnt try doing. Since on the Helix you just drag and drop to the trash can, but this one wouldnt let me....I guess even a caveman can do it...lol That fixed my problem. Thanks for the advise, it worked perfect!!
So every now and then my dock bar moves to the right side of the screen and spaces my screen funny. i cannot get it to move back without rebooting my phone. any thoughts?
i've had this issue as well.
also, has anyone run into any redraw home screen issues? some times it take 5 or more seconds for my home screen icons to appear after i exit an app.
i have that issue, but typically only when i'm exiting a pretty memory intensive app
i'm not sure if a launcher exists that doesn't do that to some extent
