New Leaked Photos Of Motorola's new Droid HD alongside Droid Bionic

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: This is what the Bionic should have looked like, at least in terms of thickness. If it truly is sporting a Moto based lte antenna inside, you think they would've slimmed it down enough to, quite frankly, make it at least as sexy as the HD. Sure, it's a black slate- like everything else. But it's a spiffy looking one in comparison to most.

Still an ugly phone. Think I'll wait for the SG2 or Vigor..unless I get desperate and annoyed with my X2, then I'll go with the Bionic.

i agree. it's nothing spectacular in appearance, and while i would prefer a little more pinache, i will sacrifice that for the slim design. and who knows, by release time, it may end up looking like some of those renderings that were leaked by PocketNow a while back - those were sweet!

Personally I could live with this design but I agree, those renders were great. Too bad they were just renders and not actual phones. The HD doesn't look bad, it's industrial look probably won't appeal to the masses but the slimness....that looks pretty nice.

While posting with my Thunderbolt I'll enjoy laughing at the people who passed on the Droid X for then Thunderbolt then decided to wait instead for the Bionic and now "hmm, may have to skip the Bionic for the HD". While typing all this on their Droid 1 or Incredible 1

and while your tbolt is having terrible battery, and those reboots we Droid 1 Owners are laughing at you because after all these years, our phone is still stable with no problems



but other than that, this phone looks good but bionic what? Sorry, Bionic is overrated.

Admin over at AC (Phil) just said that he's confirmed that VZW is testing the D-HD. if VZW is already testing, and we're already seeing leaked photos of the device, it can't be that far off. (and by that i mean maybe end of Q1/early Q2??) and, this would also seem to fall in line with what Jha said last week or so - the Bionic isn't the only product Moto has coming to mkt. in fact, he gave some indications that Moto could have other significant devices coming to mkt in Q4. we all knew the end of '11 was going to be crazy, and this device could certainly add to the craziness. this is definitely on my radar!

after thinking about this some more, i realized that in his quarterly earnings report/conf call on 7/28 (where he confirmed Bionic for Sept), Jha said that Moto would have another LTE device out before the end of the year. "LTE" certainly signals VZW, as does the "Droid" branding on this device. we could very well be looking at a holiday release.

"LTE" certainly signals VZW, as does the "Droid" branding on this device. we could very well be looking at a holiday release.

With a 2nd gen LTE radio in it...

All You guys that want to wait for the HD go right ahead. Heck we all know how good motos word is on releasing phones, not to mention their timely fashion. I'm sticking with the bionic. It might be a little thick, but I compare it to my d1 and Its not that bad. Plus ill take a good chip with "supposed" great battery life over thinner and prolly not do great battery.
