What would cause the low memory and constant FC's on a clean wipe install?

I got that too, right after wipe and install. I just had to move a few apps to the SD card to free up the space. A new mod could mean slightly more memory used.

If I could do that, it might work, however, launcher FC's immediately. I can't keep launcher open long enough to even switch a screen. With no apps installed, there's no way any ROM should be using all the memory. Something else must be wrong somewhere.

reboot into recovery, wipe factory reset.

then manually go into partitions menu and format /data and /cache


then flash......good luck to you!

Is the gallery fix really needed cause I'm not having any issues. Just wondering if there is a bug that we should fix just incase. Thanks.

Well, had my first lock up ...was charging on USB went upstairs to get a drink and came back it was on the Miui boot animation. Stayed on that until a battery pull. For some reason the last 2 Miui's seem to hate my phone.. frustrating.

On 12.24.1 I installed the data throttle hack and my speed jumped from 1.2mbit to 2.2mbit down, and now that I'm on 12.31 I'm back down to 1.2mbit. Did the hack not work as well in this build?

Been running 12.31 since this morning, running really well. Only thing I've noticed is less internal memory available than I had in 12.24, about 20MB less, and less RAM available. I'm down to about 44MB of RAM, may have to lose some apps!! Thing is I really don't have a ton of apps, so it's strange to me as to why it's so low.

Does anyone know how to make the 4x4 music widget show up on alternate launchers? I have it on the MIUI launcher but not on LP

Well a lot of your apps sync up. Then you just restore the missing ones which usually that many. Especially considering the limited amount of space the Droid has. So, even if it doesn't restore all of your apps, you can still restore however many are left. Otherwise, if I restore only with TB, it usually cuts off at a percentage, then I run the missing apps restore.

The thing is my droid never syncs apps from the market for some reason, like seriously never out of the 10 times I've wiped.

That mod never worked on Verizon in the first place. Verizon throttles OTA, not by firmware/software. Anyone who experienced increased speed only experienced a placebo. Like always, the internet sometimes is snappy, and at others is slow as molasses.

The funny thing about it is, the original OP asking for this hack/mod, linked to a thread that already stated that this hack/mod only worked for T-Mobile and Bell Canada, because those 2 do throttle by firmware/software, but I guess everyone failed to read that part of the thread.

You can't, the 4x4 widget is coded into the launcher itself, not the music app.

Think of it as sense widgets, you can get a calendar widget through LP from the calendar app, the the calendar sense widget that uses the calendar app is coded into Rosie.apk, which is the sense launcher.
