New RUU Leaks For HTC Thunderbolt – Fixes GPS, Audio Recording And LTE Hand-Off

I flashed radio twice every time I do my phone looses root my gps still works like crap. Not sure about 4G as I am in a 4G area it works fine never has flashed back to 3G here. My baseband # is1.16.00.0223r Twix said it should be different I used the download he gave me same deal lost root same #.

I figured that. Im gonna try once more I download the zip rename it do I get rid of any others first then hboot? Or doesent it matter? I hope I dont loose root again I shouldnt if I do it wright correct. Thanks Larry

You should never have more than one PG05IMG.zip on the root of your sdcard. If you do, put the other one in a folder if you want to keep it then put the one I gave you on the root of your sdcard.

Note: Check the file size. It should be around 25 mb.

You can either mount it on your computer by plugging it into a USB port and changing the mode to disk drive mode. Then it will give you a prompt on your computer to open it and just drag the file to the root. Or you can use the move method in any file explorer to move it from where it is to the root of the sdcard.

If you're using a file manager, there should be a path in the upper left corner. Most will open to your sd root by default. The path will say /sd. Twix is right about only one PG05IMG at a time on your sd root. That's why you were losing root, HBOOT was re-installing the old zip.
