The guy at my local verizon store said that he has no way of telling me when they will restock with teh Droid X. Because motorola is having difficulties manufacturing the phones.

If Motorola can't make them in a timely manner, then they shouldn't be selling them, plain and simple. How could they not have learned their lesson from the Incredible? That's what pisses me off the most. They were questioned about the availability issue before the phone was released and said they had taken steps to assure it wouldn't happen this time. It was pure and simple BS and they knew it, yet chose to lie in order to take the cash.

Carrier (Verizon) spokeswoman Brenda Raney told CNET that the company has "done everything possible to ensure we have inventory to meet customer needs around the Droid X."
