nfl mobile strange occurance

i did a search and maybe I missed it.....when the NFL app came out...I changed my banner to verizon wireless and I was able to download it and it worked fine....a few days later.....when I went to open it....I got the pop up message that it is only for verizon customers....

I uninstalled it....and tried to install it numerous times....and I can not get it to open....my banner still says verizon wireless

is there another step I am missing?

Someone released a version of the app that does not require the banner to say Verizon Wireless. I'm sure someone will come along with a link to it.
