Noob question,please help?

:blackdroid: Hello fellow droid fans..i am sorry to take your time and i know you guys (some of you) dont mind but..before i begin i have a brand new droid due to warranty replacement..i have nothing on the device but my contacts and swype and flash that some guy put on my phones sd card for me..i have build number frg01b and version 2.2...soo my question is (and i have tried the search feature)..what do i have to do to get rooted..i want to enter the rooted world and have wireless tethering and maybe even get into custom roms..am i screwed?is there a link i can read to do it myself?someone please help....again i have read around and tried to learn but theres so many things flying around i dont know what to do...thanks guysdancedroid

Yea, flipping between work stuff and forum, didn't catch that.

I went by this when i rooted my D1

allright,so i think after work i will try and use that procedure..hopefully it turns out ok
