im thinking of picking up a droid unlocked...
i got a few questions
1. it appears that the non milestone droid is only for cdma and not compatible with gsm carriers like at&t and t-mobile? is this correct?

2. since the non milestone droid is only for verizon, how come GSM Coverage Maps | United Stateshere it has the verizon wireless with gsm? is verizon gsm or not...

what is the cheapest route to get a droid thats capable of running on tmobile and at&t networks...

(1) The moto droid is only for cdma and cannot be used on at&t or t-mobile.

(2) I think you're looking at the wrong map. What you're seeing is the coverage for alltell.

(3) You'll need to purchase a milestone without a contract.
