Official Broken Apps thread for Froyo

Corp calendar works fine for me.

I believe you still have to add the account to the stock corp email (with the old corporate calendar app, perhaps people didn't realize adding that was actually adding the account to the corp email). It takes a while to sync (which is why I thought it wasn't working), but it now picks up my corporate calendar in Android Agenda widget again and, new with Froyo, integrates in the personal calendar.

Just so you guys know... There is no CORP calendar in Froyo anymore.

The stock calendar app works kinda like the Email app and shows colored labels for the different accounts events on the calendar. I believe they also added the Agenda View which is much more useful than how it was in the past.

Also if your company has an exchange GAL the TO: filed will now search it when typing a name in the field. AMAZING! :-D it is how it should have been from the start. lol.

GO google!

Only app that has stopped working for me and seems to be everyone is Mototorch... :-( (not really a big deal) lol

To me the main app we need is a working CPU temp monitor...
all these other things are nuisances, but we can wait for the fixes...if the CPU is oveerheating and we don't know that it is, well that could end up ruining our CPUs permanently

rcfx try this

No busybox, and I have it in system/bin, even put bgill55's clean black theme on which also installs this,

for this I had to change permissions let me make you a screenshot to check yours and it has to be in system/bin

BusyBox fix:
This is using Root Explorer.
Using Titanium Backup open the app and click problems, allow it to load a new copy of BusyBox.
Open Root Explorer, go to data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files and copy BusyBox. Now go to System/Bin and making sure you check the r/w button up top paste the BusyBox file here. That's it, Metamorph will now work.

I seen some people releasing ways to fix this, but they're all using Root Explorer it seems. Anyone know of a way to fix this issue with just Astro File Manager? I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 too, seen a few other guides but on Windows

You can also just go to the camera app, select video and turn on the flash there. There's a little icon for it on the screen (it's translucent, so it's easy to overlook). No separate app required.

Use root explorer instead... I forget if it's a paid app or not, either way, it's worth it.

It's a paid app, but I only need it to delete one file. There's no way to browse the explorer from the SDK or something? Can't believe thats the only free explorer for root access o.o
