Official Broken Apps thread for Froyo

I seen some people releasing ways to fix this, but they're all using Root Explorer it seems. Anyone know of a way to fix this issue with just Astro File Manager? I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 too, seen a few other guides but on Windows

Use root explorer instead... I forget if it's a paid app or not, either way, it's worth it.

It's a paid app, but I only need it to delete one file. There's no way to browse the explorer from the SDK or something? Can't believe thats the only free explorer for root access o.o

But then you could go in and delete the Visual Voicemail app, as well as any other of the Verizon apps that they make you have (Amazon MP3 if you don't want it). You've been presented an answer! dancedroid

Not to mention this is useful if you ever have to do this for a few other apps.

System Panel

System monitor in the market is reading cpu and battery temp with froyo and p3s 1ghz kernel
Which one???...
Yeah I found that out already... but what I've found out is disturbing me a bit... running 36c average and that's with nothing runnng!! This whole ROM runs hot, need a better LV kernel and a better way to keep up to the minute CPU temp monitoring...

Google Voice issues under Froyo

So I am noticing that my Google Voice messages won't come across until I actually go into the app itself now, no notifications and even then they are lagged in time sent.

Anyone else having these issues? Seems coincidental it is happening right after installing Froyo.

Yes I notice this as well. It appears to be an issue. Remember, the app is built for the OS. I wonder if Nexus One has this problem.

No problems I have had so far save the droidlight and IM apk the thing goes total bonkers on them when trying to sign in to a protocol other than gtalk LOL

So hopefully in that case we should expect a 2.2 update to Google Voice in the Marketplace in the near future.

Thanks for the confirmation that I wasn't alone at least. :)
