Not going to comment on the lack of comments from the VZW big wigs but ........

Looking at all the forthcoming Android phones I am beginning to see the attraction of the iPhone. One phone (with two different internal storage specs) and one carrier. It's easy to make a decision - iPhone on AT&T please. Android .... wow so many great choices now I am going to have a hard time deciding on what my next phone is going to be.

Also on a side note, what's the deal with Samsung? First "AMOLED" then "Super AMOLED" and now "Super AMOLED Plus" .........

That was about the worst press conference I have ever seen....Worse than MS E3 last year and Sony's in 2006. The only somewhat useful info I got out of that is that all 4G verizon phones will be capable of video chat...No specifics whatsoever on any of the phones announced. Then again, we already knew about all those phones...Oh well. Time to wait for hands on coverage from the floor...

I just clinched my phone tighter and said "buddy...you live to fight another day"...

But didn't someone say like $80 for 10GB on 4g?

As far as I know those pricing plans are for USB modems. I hope that the phones will still have an unlimited data package, priced at $30.

That's the current price on the USB modems, apparently - for phones that's a non-starter IMO

All I want to know is.....With $50 & $80 data plans...

Can I do like the Evo and toggle between 4g and 3g? If so..I'm KEEPING my unlimited 3g data plan, and getting the CHEAPEST 4g plan possible.

I'm FULLY prepared for Tmobile & AT&T to now take jabs at Verizon for jumping the 4g gun...yet not even have a pricing plan available.

Crying Wolf at it's finest.

"Hey...we have 4g...but...it wont be available until we release the pricing plans..which...we can't discuss".

From what I understand the only new device* featured that will be dual-core is the Bionic.

smartphone that is
