For some reason, since I installed the OTA update of froyo - my X has been randomly rebooting during phone calls as well as getting the screen locked in a funky place. I've had to pull the battery a number of times.. Is there a fix to this?

Factory reset and/or exchange the phone. For some reason, since I installed the OTA update of froyo - my X has been randomly rebooting during phone calls as well as getting the screen locked in a funky place. I've had to pull the battery a number of times.. Is there a fix to this?
You know I was looking at my phone at work earlier and I noticed that too. I thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me. I really couldn't remember if it was like that in 2.1. And also I've noticed that quite a few things (images/videos) don't appear to be as crystal clear as they were before. Kind of pixelated almost. I checked the build.prop and the lcd density is the same as it was before. Dunno what could be causing this. First thing I thought of was maybe the layout got changed in an xml file somewhere.Just updated to 2.2 and after the re-boot my screen is now smaller than before? Anyone else seeing anything like this?
It isn't a huge difference, but the last few pixels on each side of the screen are dark, and everything just looks shrunk down (nothing is cut off). Can't be more than a mm or two on each side, but it just looks different than what I'm used to.
Tried re-booting a few times and pulling the battery, but no luck.
Damn, this actually is annoying to me!
I have the update but i don't seem to have flash embedded vids goes to the stand alone player and I don't see the app in the drawer...any idea what the problem is?

You have to download it from the Market. It's not included in the update.
Flash was in my OTA update.
When using the volume key to put the phone into silent mode, it only seems to go to vibrate... and when in the Verizon wireless screen with the unlock and sound slide bars, if you move the slide bar to the right it says "phone is silent" and displays the silent icon, but on the top task bar it still indicates its on vibrate. Hopefully I won't have to listen to my phone vibrate against my wood dresser all night.
after doing a complete factory reset a week or so ago
i have to say my phone is running pretty damn good
Bingo! I finally figured out how to get things straight in my Droid X 2.2 update - Android Forums
two issues still remain one new one one old (before update)
the new one is the stock music player crashes. but i have been using cubed. the only thing that sux is that the stock music player seems to be tied into the bluetooth controls
i hope they fix this. either fix the music player or allow me to use different players with bluetooth
the old problem is the alarm sometimes not ringing. i see the red alarm screen but there's no sound its very frustrating. all volumes are up everything set correctly but no alarm sound sometimes
if these two issues get fixed in the next update then it would be a perfect phone!
