This is the Official 2.2 FRG22D OTA patch that will be pushed to Droid 1 devices. The download is on Googles server so do not worry about the warning when navigating to the download page..

It's a very small patch (1.63MB) which enables you to "see" Adobe Flash in the Market and a security patch (unknown) This patch will update you from FRG01B to FRG22D and bring you current.

**UPDATE: If you are still on 2.1 and want the FULL Update (FRG01B patched to FRG22D) DOWNLOAD FROM GOOGLES SERVER.**

Enjoy!!

install over rooted frg22d?

Should we install this over the rooted frg22d from P3Droid or will that mess up the root itself?

Can this be installed on Droid's for people like me that run a custom root 2.2 rom?

This patch is only for updating FRG01B to FRG22D.

Are you sure about that? The patch is 1.6MB. My impression was this is a patch for the initial frg22d OTA from last week.

This patch is made to go over FRG01B. I don't know where FRG22D came from, but this patch should make it into FRG22D.

The problem is if you install it you may lose root. I'm thinking about trying it anyway since I have a D2 coming.

hmmm…I got a questionable security certificate notice when I tried to download it.

read the OP hook lol

It's Googles server. That will always pop up.

It's even in BOLD hahahaha

Only the patch files (not complete files) - requires the proper files on your droid for the patches to work. Since it expects to patch files from FRG01B - you need that installed first.

Would be nice to have the full files...

I think thats because the link mistakenly uses HTTPS vs HTTP. If you use plain old HTTP the download will still work and you will not get the error. I think this should probably be corrected in the OP.
