Went over and registered on the thread you started. I get the feeling they are going with the "We don't give a Eff" about it. I think it would be nice if they did it, but something tells me they have made a decent amount of money off of homerun 3D already not to do anything more with it. Hell it is my favorite game right now, but if something else comes out and utilizes the SD card I will be forced to take it off to free up more room.

Thanks for doing that, I noticed. I feel like there is a language barrier too. I think they interpreted my request as a personal one in where I wanted a feature all to myself...odd indeed.

I did see all the cheater threads over in the iPhone section though. I'm not like their customer support/feedback at all right now.

I do agree though, doesn't seem like they care as long as they get their money. If they see lower sales because of a lack of SD support, that might change their mind...

To balance things out silly. Iphone: Inferior hardware, superior gear. Android: Superior hardware, inferior gear :P

hehe i like that... anyway... the game is fun, but damn near impossible once you break 6kish ranking... because everyone has better gear than you
 
so any of you ball hitters got any tips for a new player? I can't seem to get the hang of this "aiming" system. Tilt right to hit the ball to the right? same with the left? never once worked. am I supposed to tilt the phone back to hit low or somehting?

For a while it seemed if i just held it where it defaulted to I could hit home runs. But every so often the ball curves down at the last second or sometimes the ball is just slightly higher and how am I suppose to know to aim up if it looks like it's coming at me like normal?

It takes practice. You got to know when to make an adjustment.

Those pitchers seem to know when you are having difficulty hitting a certain pitch and they will start throwing it to you consistently. And them moment you do hit it they will change locations.

I find that just slightly moving the Droid back and forth is all I need to make the adjustments. I'm finally at a point where I've left the Rookie area and now in with the sluggers and champions. Getting beat more often then not but I am starting to win some now too even in that area.

Spend a lot of time in the arcade practicing. Plus you'll be able to get better equipment so you can make contact with the ball. Contact is more important then power.

ya since that post I discovered it doesn't really matter how much you tilt it when you need to, as long as it's lower for a low ball it seems to make contact, cool with me though, I thought it had to be precies haha.
 
well, there was an update tonight, performance fix n what not but theres an 8mb update apparently but I can only make it to 3/4 before i get an error and have to restart, did it 3 times now and failed each time :(
 
Just did the 1.2.7 update for this game on my Moto droid. Looks like COM2US is now installing some of the game to the SD Card. I think it is around 17MB to the card. Also the game plays smoother on my Droid now.

I am going to have to start playing this one again, it's been awhile since I have played.

@spykez: I had one error when I tried downloading that new update. It only occurred once and when I redownloaded it managed to get the entire update. If you can get it to work I think you will be happy with the change. Graphics also look a little cleaner.
 
I've been getting a lot of FC's since the update before this but it doesn't actually crash

anyone know how to "hack" in equipment? Their patch was bugged which forced me to reinstall and lost all my equipment but kept all my data :(
