Facebook Sync App

well as you can see i got facebook to show up in the accounts and sync however it does not have the option to sync im assuming this is because the app thinks this is an earlier version of android as the same app on cupcake does not give option to sync but it does on eclair.

facebook sync is a big thing for me and probably for every one else using this rom. other then that it is a great rom.

twitter sync works so this appears to be strictly a facebook thing. im fairly certain its because the facebook sync is set up to work only with 2.0 and higher.

lol sorry for so many edits. found a semi solution if you only use facebook sync for the photos which is all i do then search for syncmypix in the market. you just log in run the sync and it will match names and numbers after its done it will show a results window if a contact didnt sync with there facebook pic you can long press on your facebook friend and link to contact. this is what im doing now and am very pleased.

Yes! IOS..many variations of it. Davros has ported a lot of different themes over. IOS them by USC as well.

Also...Davros just ported over Jstylez theme..which is what Im using. Very clean appearance and imo, best the for it so far.

read a little before flashing it. Not sure your preference, but you may want to hold off till he adds more links. Davros and I have similar preferences as far as MIUI goes. We both prefer the old v3.3 mms themed, and the new contacts. The link in that thread contains the old 3.3 mms.apk (unthemed), but you can installs the IOS themed one, then delete the mms.apk from this zip and flash it. It will replace other things besides your mms.

facebooks lawyers made the man take that down because of copyright logo infringement. It was renamed syncmypix...which is what I recommend for him to do. We have used it as a fb sync fix since miui v2.

This ROM doesn't use any png's for the battery; it actually draws the "fill" for the battery.

What are your specs?

Are you running anything different than stock v4.1.1?

Any kernel change? etc.

Sounds like something is running in the background. (Would also explain your battery drain overnight) there is an integrated task killer in miui. Long press the home key to bring up the button in lower left. You may have a rogue app that isn't playing nice. If you look into system more you may find the offender.

man, that guy in the video from droidlife had some trouble using miui. He didnt know much about it obviously. To drag an app into a folder, just fling it toward the folder, dont slowly place it there. Do it quickly...it works better.

Also couldve shown some battery options, MMS, contacts, etc. There is other stuff on MIUI that wasnt highlighted.

Just an observation.
