Zenulator, I keep getting download unsuccessful errors when trying to dl from the link you gave. Is the rom mirrored somewhere else?

I couldnt download straight to my phone. Had no problem downloading to my computer then moving to my sd card.

I think it can if you change the filename to update.zip.

But first try this:

Open ROM Manager, hit Menu > Clear Download Cache.

Then flash alternate recovery (SPRecovery)
Then re-flash Clockworkmod Recovery

This often works when Clockwork won't boot into recovery.

I hit a snag... boot logo boot loops when trying to install a custom kernel. I've tried 4 kernels so far and all of them sent me into boot loops. I hope I get one that works, I didn't do a nandroid backup yet. This wasn't an issue on any of the previous versions. :icon_eek:

EDIT: I was able to boot when I flashed one of Slayher's 1.6 kernels, but none of Chevy's kernels worked not even a 800 MHz med v kernel. Any ideas as to why?

i found out that it can some times be caused by the phones itself i had this problem on my first droid after i had it replaced i no longer had an issue on any rom with any kernel.

For those having facebook sync issues i havent actually used the rom yet im about to install it but i do know that facebook has to be a system app to sync you can use like root explorer find facebook in data app then move it to system app. or you can use jrummys root tools app to move it. im going to install miui and test it out let you know what i know.

Yes! IOS..many variations of it. Davros has ported a lot of different themes over. IOS them by USC as well.

Also...Davros just ported over Jstylez theme..which is what Im using. Very clean appearance and imo, best the for it so far.

well as you can see i got facebook to show up in the accounts and sync however it does not have the option to sync im assuming this is because the app thinks this is an earlier version of android as the same app on cupcake does not give option to sync but it does on eclair.

facebook sync is a big thing for me and probably for every one else using this rom. other then that it is a great rom.

twitter sync works so this appears to be strictly a facebook thing. im fairly certain its because the facebook sync is set up to work only with 2.0 and higher.

lol sorry for so many edits. found a semi solution if you only use facebook sync for the photos which is all i do then search for syncmypix in the market. you just log in run the sync and it will match names and numbers after its done it will show a results window if a contact didnt sync with there facebook pic you can long press on your facebook friend and link to contact. this is what im doing now and am very pleased.

I dont think fb is a big thing for most of us MIUI users. Facebook is a site where people from YEARS ago found me, wanted to see how my life is....and thats about it. Aside from a few friends on fb that I actually talk to or hang out with on occasion, I dont have the need to have their info in my contact storage on my phone. I personally dont care for FB and I think a lot of us feel the same about it.

Now...maybe that is a generation thing...Im 30 years old...and I know younger generation DOES have a lot of friends they actually meet in person on fb...which I could see why its important for you.

For most of us adults (by this I mean old people), facebook friends are in the group of "people we DONT see or talk to much".

I am aware of the fb sync not working. Ive discussed it many times. I dont like blank spots either, that is why I use syncmypix app free from the market. At least until the facebook sync issue gets fixed.

The only thing syncmypix will not do is sync their info...like phone numbers, facebook pages, email addys, etc. But it WILL sync their pics.

Im not "old" in general, but to a 16-20 year old, I may be refered to as old. lol
