i wish i knew how to help with developing miui team has reased another update MIUI - Nexus One(HTC G5)-Desire(HTC G7)Ë¢»ú±ØË¢µÄROM ÖйúÔ*´´Android ROM¿ª·¢Ð¡×é i would love to be able to help port it to d1 but i have no idea how.

Nice to see the notification bar on the lockscreen. I wonder what else changed.

Is there a way to keep old texts and call log when changing to this ROM? I tried using titanium backup to restore texts and call log but I got force closes and they didn't restore anyways =X (I know we are not supposed to use titanium backup for system stuff anyways so I was wondering if there was a way)

I have very low battery life with this rom at 800 MHZ or 1100 MHZ with unused apps killed by task killer and only doing one thing. Gonna switch roms now

This confused me for a while too. You do not need to change the vibrate once you enable it. You just need to toggle the ring between normal and silent if you want the phone to just vibrate when someone calls.

The vibrate icon is not to silence your phone and enable vibrate...it is to turn vibration on when someone calls you. If your phone is on silent, your vibration setting in settings/sounds...will take over. The vibrate icon only adds a vibration to your ringer on....not used for silent.

It works...you were just using it wrong.

I don't know about the call log but you can backup/restore SMS with an app called "SMS Backup and Restore," available in the Market. This works fine with MIUI and does not interfere with the ROM data.

As far as the call log, I don't worry about backing up and restoring the actual log entries. What I use, to keep a history of my calls, is an app called "CallTrack," also available in the Market. This will create calendar entries in a calendar of your choice for each call placed or received. But if you want the log restored (so you can easily call back numbers on the log, for example), you will have to explore other options.
