Official Team D1-MIUI-10.29-V6.X Release

Alright, time for me to stop creeping the boards and actually post something. :p

I didn't see anything mentioned about it in the thread, so I'll ask myself:

Am I the only one who the notification LED isn't working for? E-mail, text, whatever - I get no blinking (or solid) light for any of them.

Aside from that though (and the aforementioned Chinese in the Call Settings) I absolutely love this ROM. Everything else is working for me so far. Market, GPS location, no force closes yet, etc. Thanks for all your work! :)

Yes! I thought I was the only one. Weird that it works for some and not others. I had to flash back to v5 for the day (so I could make phone calls) but I will be back to test it out later this afternoon.

V6 had dialer and phone force closes. If you wipe data and cache and then apply the update it should work fine.

I would re-download the rom and then make sure you wipe data and the cache.... then reinstall...

Was that reply directed at me? If so, I installed from Clockwork Recovery (the most recent version available through ROM Manager) and wiped Data and Cache three times and wiped Cache three times. Same as always.

For the people having network location issues did you skip the setup screen

and then go into settings and change the option so it uses wireless networks?

If it truly is broken I will make sure a fix is out today. Lets just troubleshoot first.

Yeah I did a full wipe and my phone dialer force closes.. I know its been mentioned but is there a fix for this?

For everyone that is having network location issues, go into settings then click on the personal tab on the bottom and at the top click Security and Privacy and at the top it will say "Use Wireless Networks". Make sure that is selected. If it is try toggling it off and then on, or off reboot phone and then on again.

Does it actually say dialer or phone for the error message?

Ahh so I lied. I didn't check the stock Phone app because I don't use the stock phone app, but anyways, I went into it and got FC errors every time. So I went and wiped the data for Contact Storage (com.android.providers.contacts), Voicemail Storage (com.android.phone), Dialer Storage (com.android.providers.telephony), Google Services Framework (com.google.android.gsf), and MMS Preferences (com.android.mms). Rebooted the phone and opened Dialer again. Got a force close initially, but never again after that! However, this fixes it so you can get into the Dialer, but will still force close upon making or receiving calls, so it's getting caught up on some other system setting as well.

metiCkOne: Since I fear my other question got lost in the middle of that post, I'll ask you specifically since you appear to be (inter)active. ;)

Are there any known issues with the notification LED not working for, well...anything? Thanks in advance.

I wiped and installed v6.1 and dialer worked fine for a few hours. then after I recieved first phone call it force closes everytime. I can however dial out if I choose and existing contact and call from there
