I am not sure if this has been asked yet but I installed the new Miui music and everything seems to be working fine but I know this version is supposed to have lockscreen player is that not included in the apk that has been floating around? Because I haven't seen any option for it. I could just be missing it. That is something we have to wait for a full update to get our hands on?

Only the rom that it comes with has the lockscreen feature. D1 miui 6.4 doesn't have that feature.

I have been following MIUI for a while and love what Metickone has done and appreciate all the hard work and contributions from his team, however I am a newb so how do i install a kernel? Where do i find the kernel, i have tried ones from ROM manager and failed. I am too new at this to get it to work. I love the MIUI Rom but wont use it unless I can OC my D1 in conjunction. Help?

You can overclock the kernel it comes with to 800 MHz. Many people use slayer or Chevy no1 kernels with good success. Search the forum and you will find many to choose from. You install the kernel the same way you flash the rom. Place kernel on root of your SD,install zip through clockwork recovery. If you need more info, search

Also, in case you didn't know, you don't have to wipe data or cache to install kernels

just flashed miui and love it, seen it for a while and was hesitant to test it but it does take some getting used to...

i just read all 165 pages so i got a good idea...

just a couple questions...

for one, does the main screen not go into landscape mode? when i open the keypad the screen flickers like its going to but doesnt, and when i close it it flickers again...

also, is there a way to stop the home button from showing the multiple pages? couldnt find anything in the forums...

MIUI is not meant for the droid 1, it's meant for the Nexus and something else that does not have a physical keyboard...Therefore when you actually put it into landscape mode by sliding out the keyboard, it screws up...The rom is not meant to go into landscape mode :\ about your other question, I don't know what you mean...You're the first to complain that I know of about that problem.

wasnt complaining and its not a problem, its a feature on other homescreen replacements also..
when you hit the home button it goes to your homepage, when you hit it again it shows all your pages... i was wondering if there was a way to turn that off..

FC on Keyboard setting

I have a problem with my keyboard setting force closing, this is sticking me with the stock keyboard (which blows) anyone else?

obviously no longer running cynogen here!
