Official Team D1-MIUI-10.29-V6.X Release

yea i noticed if i lock the screen and open the keyboard and unlock it the lockedscreen is in landscape and works fine but once i unlock it it goes back to portrait...

wasnt complaining and its not a problem, its a feature on other homescreen replacements also..
when you hit the home button it goes to your homepage, when you hit it again it shows all your pages... i was wondering if there was a way to turn that off..

Wasn't trying to sound mean or anything, just haven't heard of the second problem you have. As for being able to turn it off, I don't know.

@Dj : where in texas are ya from?

I'm around Tyler right now. Are you from Texas?

Yeah I'm from houston, I have a couople of friends that go to UT tyler.

How is it? I like bigger cities but unfortunately haven't had the chance to live in one. Oh, really? I haven't started college yet. I'm going into the Air Force. Ship Jan 18th to San Antonio

I have a problem with my keyboard setting force closing, this is sticking me with the stock keyboard (which blows) anyone else?

obviously no longer running cynogen here!

Are you trying to change keyboards? If so you have to choose the keyboard you want, then uncheck the stock keyboard

Are you trying to use swype? A few members noticed issues with it. They mentioned a fix but I forget atm.

Something tells me miui is finished for the original Droid. I love what metic has done but I just get the feeling our phones aren't suppose to get anymore updates cause there not designed for miui.

well seeing as they're making MIUI for the Milestone, it makes more sense to be easier to port it now wouldnt it? they were porting it from the N1 and Desire before, which would have been much harder, so you might want to keep those notions tucked away a bit longer.

Not trying to start an arguement just stating it's been a month and more and more people are doing upgrades to newer phones. I have two droids and Verizon already said there outdated and are gonna be limited soon to what they can do and what they can handle in the near future..

oh nah, my bad if i came off as rude or anything, just saying. and yeah they are getting pretty outdated compared to everything else thats coming out, but you really cant make assumptions until someone come out with an announcement that has facts you know?

Who cares what Verizon says? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that they are always going to push whatever the newest product is. The Droid is only slightly behind the curve right now, I would hardly call it outdated. If you're rooted then in my opinion you have a more capable phone than any other phone on the Verizon network to date.

It's highly likely that Verizon will stop pushing system updates to the Droid, but I think the custom ROMs will keep coming for some time.

As far as Miui being finished for the Droid - don't be ridiculous! It's been 3 weeks between updates, big deal... if you were paying attention you would have noticed that there were major issues with the last 3 weeks of the weekly Miui updates from China that made them unworthy of a Droid release. As soon as there's a functional, relatively bug-free version, I have no doubt that it will be released to us.

MIUI is not done for Droid. M1 says jamezelle is working on porting the milestone rom, as the port from N1 wasn't working anymore. Not an easy task, give him some time b4 giving up. BTW v6.4 is the most stable ROM I've ever used! Never freezes or random reboots.
