Black'Ups Darkness HD Theme

All right here it is. PLEASE DO A BACKUP FIRST. This is the first theme I've worked on that some of you might actually install. There isn't anything in it that will brick your phone but if you don't like the look of it you have something to go back to.

I take no credit for anything in this theme, I simply copied the files and made the zip. If we decide to keep it around I'd be happy to develop it for the d1.

Let me know what you think, it looks like some of the icons maybe a little different than whats posted in their screen shots and the lockscreen background is different also.

edit... right after I get my music working again

edit 2: the apk from the .7 rom wasn't working for me for some reason so I just used the last music.apk (miui.apk) I downloaded from a few pages back and that worked.

Whiskeycoke, you are the sh*t! Weird thing is that jrizzel's MIUI browser is the only icon that didn't theme the background. I'll figure it out though.

I have a quick question about the Miui music app. when i flashed v7, it didnt show up for some reason so i tried moving it to system/app manually and changing the permissions but i still cant get it to work. any ideas? thanks.

Whisky...Way to slick....Thanks a Bunch....But i do have a question though...it keeps rebooting after it gets to the main page...and it's slow...any suggestions?

I haven't had a problem with it rebooting or noticed any slowdown. It's still early though. I did install the theme on a pretty clean install meaning I just did a wipe data/cache and installed mO's 0.7 last night. I don't know what would cause your reboots though.

Should be able to just install the theme over what you already have. The only system changes are to the framework.apk, launcher2, and the customized_icons_1 folder.

I've had 2 reboots as well, both when pulling down the notification bar. I'll keep going through it and try to pinpoint it. I didn't wipe when I update to v7, fyi

We might have to theme some of the desktop icons. I haven't tried jrizzel's browser yet, been meaning too but haven't got it done. It's pretty easy to add our own icons to the customized_icons_1 folder so let me know if some of the desktop icons aren't getting themed.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and the icon came in fine.

I'm just guessing but there is probably something in the framework.apk that isn't playing nice. I tried to make mine crash when pulling down the notification bar with it empty and with emails waiting to be read. It didn't crash though.

If it were me and I didn't want to wipe the phone I'd try to apply the theme.zip again and see what happens. Maybe something didn't get copied correctly.?.
