Better is a bit subjective, though I'm not a fan of BB due tip the lack of support and random hiatus'. I think miui has the most potential due to the complete UI overhaul, but it still has a long way to go.

When miui gets a more customizable app screen, I'll be happy. Auto-organizing and alphabetizing apps would be nice someday.

Still use miui as my main rom though.

You CAN run these though.

Chevyno1 older kernels...not the newest ones with interactive.

P3droid kernels

Slayher kernels.

I personally use chevy cause it runs cooler on my phone and its fast as all get out. A lot of people here have good results with slayher. Just try some different ones out...see what you like.

BB doesn't lack support and there is nothing random about Pete's hiatus. It's just as simple as realizing that the rest of his Life is more important than keeping ROM junkies happy for the next 7 days before they start asking for a new version.

And I think you meant a more easily customizable app screen; since the app screens are already incredibly customizable, but yeah, I can see how it can bother the lazy.

And if not wanting to spend the time every week to alphabetize 5 screens of apps makes me "lazy", so be it.

You can take a look at Incoming Call Plus Beta in the market. I've used it for a couple of weeks now and really like the "button" format opposed to the slider.

not sure if ALL of them work, ive been sticking to the 1.6 ones. i was using the 7x1000LV 1.6, but it started running a little bit hot so i changed to the 7x1200LV 1.6. seems to be working pretty well.

edit: ran quadrant and got 1565 ran it again and got 1605 with the 1200LV 1.6.

This rom moves at a faster pace because it is a team of people and not just one. The Chinese developers work to make changes and upgrades and some developers at xda translate everything for us and team d1 ports it for us. If it was one person doing all of that work then it would be about a month between updates. You got to love team work. Pete's rom is great but with his school work and extra curricular activities it takes him a while to put out updates. I still check in on BB every once and a while.

I would, but I read that it doesn't have a progress bar, and that kinda puts me off it. Wonder if they will incorporate one in a later version; I hope they do.

its actually pretty nice. works great and the tabbed browsing is awesome.
it actually DOES have a status bar on the bottom when you first load a page, but you have to be pretty quick to catch it, and even if you are quick enough to see it, it disappears as soon as it hits like almost half way loaded. so in total it shows up for possibly half a second (i think that may even be an over-estimation lol)

Ok this rom is so much more usable I haven't switched roms in almost a week. Also the translated browser is fantastic. Also does this MIUI backup actually work?

Is there a way to route certain contacts directly to voicemail like in the standard Android system? Usually there's a Settings option under each contact that you can access to check a box that will direct all those calls straight to voicemail but I can't find the option in MIUI. Other than that, I'm LOVING the ROM!
