Old D1-MIUI-0.12.24.0

Ok so far I'm in love with this release. Running smoth only three bugs that I have noticed. I like what they did to the music player you can filter out anything under a certain size and you can filter by folder.

Also you can now hide apps in a folder and password protect it you can also hide and password protect folders in gallery. And the visitor or guest mode is also awesome and you can set a password to disable it. They made so many changes I like it.

Anyone tried the themes in .mtz or .zip yet? I'm about to wipe then flash this one and see what happens.

The themes that I had from 12.3.2 installed just fine on 12.24.

I was going to add a kernel but I've moved to 800 with setCUP and the browser is very fast. Not sure I need to add a kernel.

Has anyone added a kernel yet? If so, which one and how has it impacted your phone?

the stock kernel is plenty fast, but for me personally im using one of my 1100mhz custom kernels with onboot compcache. With a backing swap to my new class 10 sdcard.....zoom zoom!

Thanks! For now, I am sticking with the stock kernel. I've not tried compcache or back swap (above my pay grade )

I forgot to ask, does this version support Swype? I was testing a beta version. No problem if not. Others can test and reply :biggrin:

Swype works. I removed all old swype files and installed from email. Works like a charm.

You dont flash them!!

Been running since this morning, everything working beautifully for me. Thanks a ton guys!! Awesome Christmas present indeed!! I'm going to try and get my girlfriend to switch to this build finally, since it's pretty much 100% stable. She uses the Charity Rom but has been complaining it's slow. Hopefully I can make her into a MIUI convert like me!! lol!! I told her, once you start using Miui and get used to it's features, you are hooked. No going back to conventional roms after that!! ; )

hi I just installed the zip on my sd card and formatted and everything worked great then I rebooted and stuck on htc incredible starting screen for like 10min now... anyone help?

yes, that is what I did -- flashed 12.24 then used theme manager to install the themes that I loaded with 12.3.2 Worded fine for me

Ok found an issue but its something the miui devs will have to fix

If in guest mode and some one sends you a message you never receive it unless you send a message to them or they send a message to you after you come out of guest mode also sms fc if you try to send while in guest mode. It would be nice if guest mode also hid contacts it would be nice if guest mode gave pretty much full functionality and allowed messages and calls while in guest mode.



Oh sorry I was wrong you never ever get those messages ever.
