I'm still at 12.3.2. I've not been able to install the Gmail update nor the new market app.

I've tried renaming the apk's but that does not work. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Isn't the Gmail updated version in the market? And jrizzl has the new working market on his unofficial mod so you can probably take the vending.apk from that and use it.

Yes, I've downloaded Gmail from the market about a dozen times. The download is successful and the install begins but always fails.

Oh, I'm not sure about that then.

It doesn't force close or have any cut off text. Worked great.

EDIT: I know it worked good for 12.18 but I don't know how well it works on 12.11. I just now realized this is the 12.11 thread.

Hey Mike!

The Jrizzill mod did wonders for me, including getting the market working.

All I need now is the gingerbread calendar, which I really prefer over the drab one in there now.

Just wanted to weigh in on 12.3.2. Nice rom.. not the most stable, tho. Running 12.3.2. All is good except random reboots .. about 4 or 5 a day. I think I'll stay with this version (or go back to sapphire) becuase of the issues with 12.11. Anyway ... i'll keep an eye on this forum for a more stable update. Thanks for the rom tho ... it is nice.

I installed 12.3.2 about two weeks ago. It runs very well on my Droid. I've not had one FC.

Have you tried 12.18...?

Tried 12.18 last night. I had problems: My phone had FC's and my apps would not download from the Market. I left the phone in the dock and run for over eight hours but many apps would not install.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that last night. Mine didn't sync at all so I used TB. Some of them would just stall so I cancelled the download and then redownloaded it. Frustrating process but finally got them all.

Yes, and everything works perfect other than the screenshot feature. New theme formats are also being a pain. Haven't tried flashing one yet though. And I have the unofficial mod flashed as well. It only themed a few apps though. I guess it's because of the new format but I'm not sure since it's a flash.

If I can carve out an hour or so tomorrow I will try again. Even though the phone would not work and all of my apps would not install I found the rom extremely fast and the new map app was very cool.

Sound busy. And yeah, I understand. My dialer would force close but once I delete telocationprovider.apk it fixed it. People were talking about it removing dnd's(not sure what those are) but jamezelle said the Droid didn't use that .apk and forgot to delete it. And some of my apps, one in particular, I had to cancel and redownload several times before it finally worked.

And yes, I did. I had seen the thread about the fix but people were mentioning not having the problems when they had the mod flashed so I hadn't tried it. Works great now!
