try settings> manage apps> clear data and cache in the market and start the market back up

You're going to have to search for and re-download everything because it's a different market. You didn't backup your apps?

ummm, never had to before, they always repopulated after getting a new rom...will do a restore then backup my apps.

remove from /system/app and then redownload from market

What is the easiest way of doing this. A little hesitant because last time I did this with another app I ended up in a boot loop and had to resort to sbf, no fun!

ummm, never had to before, they always repopulated after getting a new rom...will do a restore then backup my apps.

Okay, for the furture you should always back up your apps even if you make a nandroid backup. I use astro and titanium backup to back them up.
