Older....Official D1-MIUI-0.12.3.2

You can also download those ROM's straight from Rom Manager, and then just copy it from within the clockworkmod folder on your SD card.

I gave up and installed LP over MIUI. Shame cause I'm losing all of the functionality of the stock launcher. It needs a lot of work. It's very SLOW. Also, why is the search button not tied to the new google search? I used to long press it to get to voice commands and now it just sucks. And SMS time stamps in the conversation list! We need a fix! Please MIUI devs.. I really wanna keep this rom.

1...the new version is not laggy or slow. I use slayhers #25 1.0 ghz interactive and setcpu...oc to 1000mhz...I find it to be faster than any other ROM ive used.

2. Pull google search from market and delete the googlequicksearchbox.apk from /system/app and reboot. I use the black google search apk from PEv3.5

3. The google search is the softpress on the search softkey...long pressing is supposed to bring up the voice search.

what are your setcpu settings? maybe i can get some ideas from you. i just deleted the "quicksearchbox.apk" so we'll see if that works for the voice searching. thanks for the response.

EDIT: ok.. deleting quicksearchbox just totally killed my search button for the homescreen. now whether i press it or long-press it, it does NOTHING. i have the new google search installed....

For search button to function you need to move the google search apk (i think it's named something like com.google.quicksearchbox1.apk) from /data/app to /system/app, rename it to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk, and fix the permissions to match the rest of the apps in /system/app. Then reboot. Then your search button will work normally.

Ohh, I didn't know that. I only messed with Rom Manager once because I didn't understand all the parts of rooting yet and I thought I had to use it, then I was told that I couldn't use that if I had SPRecovery so I never messed with it again after that.

OK im fairly new to this ROM and just want to try it out, do you have to install an old version of the ROM to install the newer one like it says on the first page?

Is anyone else having wifi issues? I have tried three different kernels (stock, slayher, chevy). I have never had this issue before and do not know why it started, but my wifi will not show any networks, open or closed. Help

I believe you download 12.1 first because .2 and .3 are just updates, I don't think they're actually ROM's

I installed late last night for the first time. Just used the download in box 1 renamed to update.zip, wiped data and cache 3X and installed.

Mine works. I used it last night. I did have an issue when I turned it off. I lost my 3G and a reboot rectified.
