One Click to get back on upgrade path

great to hear... yeah if you just verify that you do have the forever root script before applying that .901 update, you should stay rooted...it did for me, just didn't see any performance gains on .901 compared to .893 on my part...

yeah, it did keep root on .901. for some reason i did the one click method for getting back to ota path and lost root. that's why i went through all of this. anyway thank for your help bro. onto restoring all the apps and the desktop back to my preference.

Update , I used p3droid's easy 1 click fix this morning and I am impressed with the data, signal and battery with the 5.9.901. I have not lost 4g all day and after 9 hours of light use I still have 71% on my extended battery, the camara on the other hand is still not that great but it will due. Also I seem to be rooted because I now have superuser app.

I just went back to my 5.5.893 OTA nandroid after I fixed the cdt.bin error... so luckily I didn't have to re-setup all my apps and preferences...

reinstall the driver and restart your computer might help..just my 2cents!and be sure your using USB cord that compat. to you device.

So you applied the 1-click pathsaver ontop of 5.9.901? ....try the below...
I can probably put together a standalone script file for this but not sure I want to corrupt the .901 to .893 process over again to test the script...lol

I was running the pathsaver script from 5.8.894.

okay here is what you need to do...
Take the cdt.bin file from the .901 OTA zip...copy it into this extracted FastRecovery file.(overwrite the existing cdt.bin in there) .....boot your Bionic into the fastboot mode that is having the cdt error....plug into your PC, run the everything.bat file in the Fastboot Recovery folder...it will flash the cdt.bin file first......unplug your Bionic immediately after flashing 'only' that and it should reboot into stock OTA 5.5.893

worked for me. Thanks man. But since we flashed the .901 cdt does that mean we are technically not completly stock?
