OTA Updates Possible Before The 11th?

I also got mine quite early. That Google Maps map seems like it's pretty randomly distributed(people, use Google Maps Editor to add yourself), so perhaps it's in the order people got theirs. I was likely the first in my area and I got it the day it came out. Can anyone confirm this notion?

Got the update last night about 9:30 in so cal. I can tell quite a difference with how much faster the phone is all around. Like it alot. Good job Verizon/Google.

I exchanged my fault droid for a new one yesterday, and I have 2.0.1 on it. I love the new lock screen, and my phone definitely. My brothers droid received a pop up that asked him if he wanted to update it or not

OK....maybe a dumb question......when are everyones updates occuring? late night? early a.m.? During the day??

I wouldn't think it would be during the day because of heightened activity.

Reason i ask is because i am anxiously awaiting my update and would like to see it done over the air instead of manual and i was wondering when to look for it.

The battery usage update alone is worth its weight in gold. This thing kills me with an average of 20 hours between charges.

Mine apparently downloaded the update some time during the night. It wasn't there at mid-night last night, but it was on the DROID this morning when I woke up. All I had to do was accept it. Then let it install.

Anyone in the Pacific NW get theirs? Are the 200,000 selected randomly or by region?

Sorry double post, but I forgot to ask: Anyone else notice that the haptic feedback vibration when pressing keys has been reduced. It used to practically shake in my hand and now it's just a slight buzz. No big deal, just need to get used to it.

Yea!! I got my update throughout the night and when I woke up it was ready to be installed!!.. yea!!.. Its faster, camera shoots better, keyboard is much more accurate, etc etc.. these were the few features that I noticed right off the bat. One thing that I'm gonna have to get used to is the new lock screen :icon_ nono2: .. It took me a while to answer a call because now instead of going in a arch I have to go straight across.. But Ill get used to it!
