OTA Updates Possible Before The 11th?

Got the update at 11:45 in Lubbock Texas also. I've spent the last couple of hours checking everything out and it does indeed seem faster and smoother in all screens. The browser even seems to be downloading faster, but that could be coincidence. I'm glad I waited for the OTA, I didnt experience any of the problems that people reported with the manual update. The ONLY thing it reset on mine was the ringtone.

Just updated. The home page and everything seems faster except for scrolling through web pages. I'm hoping it is just my location in the building here at work. Ill try again once I leave in 3 hours. The keyboard is also slow, trying to catch up with me as I type this and doesn't show letters as I press them when I type as fast as I can. Hope this isn't from the update.

I got the update about 3:30 am today and so far my keyboard didn't light up for half of this sentence, working now but also the calendar is showing 1969 for the year! Anyone else experience this?

My keyboard seems to be working like normal and my calendar shows the correct date.

Woo Hoo! 1:05 am PST... finally got my update!!! (No, I wasn't staying up just for this update... I'm a night owl by nature )

When I look at the month view it says December 1969.

Thats weird. Mine is normal. Just realized the 4 buttons on the front of the screen don't light up when I push them but come on randomly. Keyboard is very slow, can't keep up with me typing in landscape mode. Scrolling in web pages is laggy. Dissapointing.

Hmmm...

Checked mine:

4 buttons are lighting up fine
Keyboard keeps up just fine (just typed out a test SMS to make sure)
Scrolling seems fine...

Maybe a battery pull will help refreshen everything?

It finally downloaded - turned out I was waiting in line or something because it took forever - I took a walk outside down the street waiting it to download. Had to restart it a few times and my picture widgets arent working yet.
