OTA Updates Possible Before The 11th?

Oh...and the detached Google search bar...that's probably good because I would accidentally select it sometimes when dragging the notification bar down, but it looks silly now so I removed it. Someone else on here said the search button brings up the same thing anyway.

It does, and if you long press the search button, it brings up the voice control.

Mine arrived sometime during the night. I got my message at about 6AM. So far the only difference I have noticed is the offset time indicator.

The time display is now offset to the left (already mentioned numerous times)

Given some of the questions and difficulties, I am glad I waited for the auto DL this morning. I havent noticed any slowdown or other issues....yet.

Received my update for both phones during the night. Both installs had no problems and looks like all the contacts are there. Checked out a few apps on my phone and everything seems to work just fine. Gallery pulled up my pictures, no missing text messages. Will play more with the phone later, though will be busy at work for the next 12 hours :sad:

I'm in Boise and I had mine this morning around 6:30! I like it. The only issue I had was my gallery shortcut on the main screen said it wasn't installed when I "clicked" on it. It worked fine when I selected it from the full menu so I just replaced the shortcut.

I had to do the same thing.. Its different now... note the grey border for one.

Ok I lied, the buttons don't light up but I don't even care about that. I'll stop flooding this page with my problems, though the keyboard is lagging really bad and it gets to be annoying after a while.

The buttons take about 3 seconds to light up once your in a dark environment and about 3 seconds to go off again once the ambient lighting is brighter because you don't need it then.

Update came in last night, I don't know I kinda liked the old lock screen better . Other than that everything else looks great

Did not realize he was talking about the lock screen clock.
We all learn at different paces especially when some might have come form other OS's.

IF I would have read that the clock on the lock screen was offset to the left well I would not have posted.

Got my update about 4am, well the lock screen is better, the phone so much faster and seems more stable, camera faster, internet connection faster, not sure about battery yet as it is to early to tell. I had to remove the gallery but I download gallery from the market with the pinch and zoom and runs really fast, so far this update is nice

What was really going on is the gallery is improved and different and the pathway is slightly different.. all you have to do is delete the old icon or shortcut and create a new one......

Is the picture frame widget new? It puts your gallery in thumbnails, what else! Then you can chose and resize one photo for your home screen.

Loading Data, Please Wait....
Its been there for about a hour now.

I never noticed this before, anyone know what it is or what to do?

Should it be going for an hour?

I would start over.... its pretty quick..

Just turn off the phone, pull the battery and then come back up fresh to where your back in your normal phone "old firmware should still be in place" and then retry.
