I'll accept that lol it feels good. Roms on this thing...I would first suggest go launcher and use their ICS package. I honestly dint know if I'll ever root this because of that lol.

There is an app in the Google Market called OverclockWidget. It's ridiculously simple and the widget is really ugly but it works. I use it to underclock when the phone isn't charging and run it at max when it is.

It's the fourth app in the picture.

but the thing is is that no matter what app i try it says my device is unsupported and i cant figure out what i am doing wrong to make it so that i can get my phone to overclock. ive tried using the overclock install that comes on the droid utility thing and then ive watch the youtube video on how to overclock the droid razr and did everything that they said to do and i still cant get my phone to overclock

Did you try the widget? It works on my phone. Just disable the airpush ads.

Underclocking can be done with just an app (SetCPU, Overclock widget, etc.). To overclock, you need to install some special things.

After installing those two modules, you should be able to 'edit' your CPU frequencies in terminal emulator, allowing for overclocking. I run my DROID4 at 1.395Ghz max with steps down of 1.2Ghz, 900 Mhz, 600 Mhz, and 300 Mhz.
