P3 Says Won't Be Releasing Soon

This is the exact problem. They very well may be requoting P3.
The net is an echo chamber, when looking for other reports to confirm a rumors truth, often times these are merely all originating from a single source. But due to the pervasive effort to get the word out on one's site immediately, fact checking falls to the wayside.

That is exactly who they quote. P3 is their source plus their usual leads wont chime in. i dont think they have confirmed it wth others yet.

Just for the record, that wasn't the quote/rumor at all. It was that if you upgrade your phone after a stated date, you will be forced into tiered data. When the reality was that any owner of a smartphone would be grandfathered in and keep the unlimited data. Big difference between that statement and the one you recall.
As for your comment about having better things to do than spread false rumors, if you read what I posted, is inherently incorrect. I stated that I believe that P3 gets a very large benefit from these activities. Like pre release of source code, which allows him to be the only game in town and I am pretty sure that you pay P3 in some shape or form.
Also he may receive other financial benefits as well.
I never ever said I hate P3, I merely presented my lack of trust in his information. Hating someone who I have never met seems silly. I only distrust him based on history.
Hate would be a wasted emotion, as it usually is.
So again I will welcome all disagreements, but bring some factual supports.

Anyways, I have to agree with most people doubting P3's accusations. He's no hall of famer when it comes to this. It seems too ignorant to not get the G-Nex released with Black Friday coming up. And as for the AOSP ICS being released... wtf? The G-Nex has got to be coming in November, it just has to be. There are too many factors that are in play for it not to be still on schedule for a November release. Just going to cross my fingers and hope P3 doesn't knock it out of the park. Waiting!(attempt to bring the Charlie Sheen quotes back with a little G-Nex spin to them.)

I could probably debate this topic all day but I am not going to. I never said you hated him, I loosely used the terminology "hate thread" because of all the bs I read through. What does monetary gain from anything have to do with the topic we are discussing nor will I comment on it. I can see your point of view and can respect it, though I have a different one, so I will leave it at that.

Just to clarify, monetary gain has everything to do with the topic. If P3 gets remuneration for spreading disinformation, then monetary gain is the only motivation as there's no real source.
Totally respect your point of view as well. I just wanted to make sure that the monetary gain can be seen to be the keystone that it may well be.
Most people would not be working wherever they are currently working if monetary gain wasn't so important.

When i was at Costco buying my RAZR I asked the representative about their return policy. He gave me the usual "14 days return, 90 days exchange" and then inquired as to why i was asking. I mentioned the Gnex and his eyes lit up. "Oh, we are actually getting that by the 22nd :biggrin:"

I guess its possible that things have changed since then, but i will it seems unlikely. Either way, i will be keeping my eye on Costco for the next 90 days

You like it that much? One thing I was hesitant about was the camera. No one seems to like motos cameras. Dont know how much, if any, ics will help it. I messed with it at the store but not enough to get a good feel for it. What's "blur" like? Is it very intrusive?

You're speculating that there is monetary gain for P3 in regards to releasing information when in fact there is not. If we didn't have REAL jobs then maybe it would be driving force but since we do it doesn't. I have said this many times and I speak for myself and myself alone, I do this because I like to, its my hobby and my relaxation from a rather stressful day. I will go back to my original statement that no one likes to have this much bs talked about them at anytime. So I am leaving it at this - the information that is provided is from a reputable source, though there are things inside large companies that could change in a moment at any given time. You can choose to read it, assimilate it and take the information that you deem credible and discard the rest. That is our options as readers and our option as Americans to speak our mind.

I didn't realize you own mydroidworld and are clearly connected to P3. I think that in this light it becomes quite understandable that you would vehemently defend P3. Also I imagine that you benefit monetarily as well, the more popular P3 is the more traffic on your multiple websites which under the current paradigm translates into greater ad revenue.
I have no dog in this fight, while it is now very clear that you do.
This brings into question every single item of support you've provided as you have underlying motivators that call your posts into question.

That's just the last tweet I could find.. their were others debunking the delay in the US also. Logically speaking, it would make absolutely no sense. I'll see what else I can find out after I get some rest. But, I really wouldn't worry about it being delayed. From what I read today all signs point to the 17th. Worse case scenario, you wait an extra 2 weeks.. but I don't think that will be the case.
