I also noticed that Android Police....who typically is on top of all of this stuff has zero mention of this...."threat"

I read 100+ pages of this thread before I realized.... how are us og droid users supposed to buy a tethering plan? Wasn't it Verizon that made a press release stating that the droid's hardware isn't capable of being a hotspot? And they still want $30/month for just usb tether...... i agree with most of you. They aren't going to do much if anything to the rooters that aren't 'stealing' data!

Don't forget, he has to pay for all of our tethering fees as well, since none of us will be able to root. Isn't that an additional $20/month?

Once again P3 is trying to play the android fans like his own personal internet fiddle. I'm glad some people don't buy into hype and fearmongering, can't wait to hear P3Droid's response to all this, he has a reputation to uphold ya' know.... Well no need to worry about root, well as long as not tethering at least according to p3 as per his latest tweet. But I think I read somewhere that if you wrap your phone in aluminum foil there is on way for them to track you. I am now redecorating and every thing is getting covered in foil....... no thugs have came yet...

This is just a front kook. This is not a mere coincidence. The Government is amassing all it's assets and pursuing those who have rooted their device. Don't believe everything you see on TV. They are coming and they are helll bent on getting our phones and punishing us.

True story - my grandfather lives up in the White Mountains here in New Hampshire and he has a legit panic room. Like seriously legit. I am talking like an armory that happens to have food and water as well. So when VZW comes looking for me I will be chillin there eating MRE's and holding my Rambo knife.
