OK... I am rooted, one final issue. It keeps asking me if i want to apply the 2.1. I used the droidmod, i thought that it was supose to make the update to stop prompting me to be done?

Ok the link in my previous post will get you to 2.0.1 then it will work for sure.

i have a copy of the clean 2.0.1 update. will that help? i'll go upload it to 4shared

since you are on 2.0.1 it will promt you. allow it to install. sprecovery will cause it to fail and that will be the end of it.
