Possibly Some Specs Of The Bionic

I'm sorry, a 12 MP camera doesn't mean anything if the sensors aren't top of the line. I'd rather have a 5 MP camera with top end sensors than a 12 MP camera with current sensors. Look how much crisper the iPhone 5 MP camera shots are than Android 8 MP camera shots, they speak the truth in themselves. Wish people would catch on to this, because judging cameras by MP is everything that is wrong with it in the first place. The MP just give you higher resolution (not necessarily higher quality) and make the file size farking giant.

Same guy stated that the phone was noticably larger than the dx, but probably still 4.3 with more space between the screen and the edges. The first few days next week will certainly be photo days

As compared to the pics OP posted, home screen is the same, but again, I had a only a couple minutes with the phone, my remembrance is that there is more "real estate" between the edge of the screen and the edge of the phone....if that makes any sense. My thoughts were that with the overall size of the phone, the screen could've easily been 4.5" had they wanted it to be. My recollection on what I saw vs. those pics would lead me to believe that the aspect ratio is a bit off on those pics cuzz to me it seemed a bit "wider"....best way I can explain is that the pics in OP look similar to DX aspect-wise, but Bionic isn't as "slim". I mean it obviously isn't a square, but not as "slim" as OP pics appear to be.

Hoping that he post some pictures soon if it is the truth!!!

If they are going to make it bigger than the DX then they should have at least made the most out of the space for the display. If im going to carry a brick around in my pocket id at least want the display space for the trouble.

Gas stations are going to start to tie their restroom keys to bionics rather than cinder blocks or tire rims. Im still riding the bionic train though... Im all for putting a mini tablet into my pocket...Im sure it will be weird trying to put it do your ear for phone calls though..lol

8mp - 13mp - 4.3 - 4.5 - doesn't really matter to me, Moto, Dual Core, Droid, 4GLTE, those are the things that are on the top of my list

The battery life and battery size...

The D3 has a 1500 mAh battery and a rated talk time of 9 hours. Its probably right up there with the GS2. For a dual core phone thats better than the Atrix. It has that rated talk time but with a 1900 mAh battery.

Only big differences between all 3 phones is the cpu/gpu.

I seriously think one of the reasons Moto went with the OMAP is for better battery life. But with 1GB ram, LTE and a lil bit bigger screen...the battery life will probably be less than the D3. If that article about Moto making their own LTE chips is true and they found a way to have better battery life, it could be nice even if its not 1900mAh.

Well I have pretty much but all my eggs in the Bionic Handbasket. I "need" 4G (My school/work/home is all covered...) and I didnt want to settle for single core when duel core is the most current technology. Whatever the final specs are, I just hope its worth it. Been waiting ever since the "targa" was rumored last year.....cant believe it has been almost a year.

I am skeptical as well, but for some of us our only camera is our phone. So its pretty tough to take a picture of our phone/camera.

He did not say he has one in his pocket. He says that he messed around with a co workers who is testing. So I am just waiting for the pictures Monday. I do not believe it until I see pictures.

Correct.. he said he had a chance to put it in his pocket to check out the feel, booted it up flipped around the home screens and app drawer. So he doesnt currently have it in his possession. I givem the benefit of the doubt and would expect pics soon enough. If he doesnt its his own interwebs reputation on the line anyhow. (not that it may mean much to most)
