Yeah thats true, but if theres any truth to the rumors tiered data will come by summer. I feel like they will work on the original Bionic to fix the kinks and bugs or the Targa would be slated to be the new Bionic. Some people believe the the issues would be fixed if an OMAP processors was used instead of the NVIDIA Tegra 2. If this is so, they need to go ahead and make it happen so we can get this phone in our hands. On the other hand, I can't see Motorola throwing away all the phones/shells/casing/compenents they have made just to replace the Original Bionic with the Targa. That would be a complete waste of money, but honestly who know's what the outcome will be. All I know is i'm ready and waiting for this phone!

i went to the verizon store today and 2 of the workers there told me that the bionic is going to be released May 12. they also said something about getting training for the bionic soon. i dont know if they were telling the truth but they told me to wait for the bionic instead of getting the tb.

Motorola made an official announcement regarding such delay. The typical vzw employee does not follow current news like the members in these forums do. Its unfortunate, but a majority of those working at those places are simply there for a paycheck.

Yeah you're right. So do you think the new bionic will be released early Q3? Im stuck with an EnV Touch right now and its terrible.

They are the least reliable sources. And the Wall Street Journal has a statement by Motorola that it won't be released until Summer.

Take into account too we don't even know what the tired data will be yet or how much it will cost. I know it Verizon so its not the most likely thing, but it could end up being cheaper. I mean I think they will eventually have to at least make an effort to try and make their prices more competitive.
