Do you know of any other back up utility I can use to back up my info that works better with Sorcery? I want to use this ROM but need to use the apps I have downloaded now. I have a NANDROID back up of the whole system that I flashed back to but it it using MIUI as my ROM. Once I switch ROMS I can't use the MIUI back up utility that has my info saved. Thanks for all the help.

you can do an advanced restore of your nandroid and choose Restore Data. can use Titanium backup and just restore data, let the apps download from the market where possible.

i've heard MyBackupPro works better...i think the best thing to do is not restore your system settings with titanium...just allow it to restore your apps....

update

Ok the google reader program problem was narrowed down.

its in 1 of three files and would take too long to change each idividual thing and rebuild but at least we know where it was though.

just wanted to update you on the progress.

still a lot of work to get back to where we were.

But hopefully we know what not to break now.

Hi i am new to this forum an having a problem.

I installed SourceryV1.1 in motorola milestone via androidian OpenRecovery-3.3 but when the phone starts it always goes in bootloader mode and shows

Can Anyone tell whats the problem and also suggest the best rom to use

hmm sorry

sorry i dont know anything about the milestone othr than it had a locked bootloader so i dont know that sourcery would install on it. I know its very similair to the droid but not sure vendor and device is compatible.. and if they hacked around the locked bootloader i dont know anything about it.

Man i hope someone will know how to get this working for you. But i jsut dont know any thing about the milestone and custom roms. anyone give him a hand?

not positive but think miui was tested on milestones, not a unit sold in US so never looked into it.

there's a milestone user somewhere in one of these threads if not this thread. but i think he used a different recovery to get sourcery on his. he was a fairly regular poster for a while. so it shouldn't be hard to go back and check thru the user info on the left and see who has the milestone in previous posts.

Hey thanks for the help with my issue. I reflashed and loaded my apps differently without TB and everything is working great. So far this is my FAVORITE rom. I am really liking things. Thanks for the hard work guys.

K so I am running factory widget flip clock from the market and the problem I am having is that anytime I reboot I lose the widget. It is in my manage applications but I am unable to pull the widget up. I have to uninstall and reinstall and set all my setting again. Anyone know how to avoid this?

is the application on your SD card or on your phone? All widget apps should stay on the phone itself or it may have issues loading up after reboot.
