Post pictures taken with your Galaxy S4

The camera did a nice job with the varying light conditions. Did you note how the metering was done? And was this the stock Camera app?

Everything was on default settings and on Auto mode.

The wife has had the phone since Saturday, I've played with the camera and can't seem to take consistent pictures. They turn out grainy most of the time. My note 2 is pretty much the same.outside they both perform much better.

For the pictures you took indoors that came out "grainy", was this using existing light rather than the flash. If these were existing light pictures and the light level was low, then the camera would have increased the ISO setting. If the camera had to increase the ISO "a lot", then this would cause the pictures to have considerable noise.

Did you take any flash pictures and were these also grainy?

Yes tried both settings and noticed them to be similar.
I also changed the setting to matrix, then also messed with some different ISO settings.
I suck with that stuff, ha

How do your pictures compare to the others being shared? Can you post an example or two?

They're not looking grainy to me. I think they look pretty clear. Maybe I'm used to the Motorola camera so am completely spoiled by Samsung's.

If you click on my pictures to view them full-sized, that resolution isn't big enough?

Lol I obviously was not talking about you. I'm talking about other people uploading photos in a very small resolution.

For those of you having trouble, there is a settings button in the upper right corner of the camera to increase the resolution.
