i haven't pushed mine real hard yet, but idle temps have been good... but we're just talking battery temps, i don't think (unless it's changed since last night) that setcpu can read cpu temps b/c of the kernel
Just installed Froyo last night and literally just dled quadrant and ran my first test. I'm at 800mhz and busted off an 891. Froyo definitely feels snappy.
nevermind the fact that i killed all tasks just before running this and had setcpu's min/max both set to 1.2, and performance (which i realize was not necessary, but still...)

I don't know much about the nexus hacking / deving going on besides the stock cyanogen, but have they managed any overclocking? I mean right now we are the top dog on the block assuming we overclock (of course lol). but if the nexus were to oc, how much can they? and I wonder how high their score would go up.
Also the shadow is still on 2.1 according to the graph. if that gets 2.2 and gets a similiar jump up like we did and then add hopefully overclocking on top? ohhh that's going to be a smoking phone.
Also this phone nicknamed scorpian looks like a good one from rumours i've heard assuming verizon gets it, which I've heard it may.
I haven't really tried ocing to the max or tweaking that much. But I managed 1628 on quadrant and almost 20 on linpack. Strange that we trounce all the phones so far in quadrant (which I assume to be a more accurate hardware test) yet linpack we are still way low. Much higher than before yeah, but compared to the nexus we are still lower. strange.
