A few shots from an Aug. 8th thunderstorm that pushed just past where I live.

Nice pics. I like the pinkness and angle of the first pic and the clarity of the lightning from the second. Did you take them yourself? That's some excellent timing.

Haha well I'm a cold loving person myself. Being that I love to play around on engines v8+ preferably and mess around with car audio cool temps makes everything run better, smoother, and faster. I guess I do have to adjust in the summer and like the heat being part owner in a landscaping company. Grass, plants, shrubs, and similar things only like growing in the heat.

Yeah, all there were 8-15 second time-lapse photos shot with my Canon 40D. The first was actually wwwaaayyy overexposed so I pushed the contrast and pulled the brightness to get that look.

I actually am not, just always have my camera nearby/ready to go when weather pushes through. Living in Oklahoma provides many opportunities to catch exciting weather throughout the year.

For giggles I am going to post some other cloud pictures and maybe a couple more lightening if I can find them on my HD.

Im happy, PHX is starting to cool off a tad in the mornings. Mornings are a solid 75, almost need my sweatshirt. Pools starting to get cold unfortunately...

I know the cool air feels good. I'm awaiting some cold fronts to push through NC later this coming week to bring some cool air. As long as the water doesn't go below 65 the pool would still be worth diving in imo.

@CJM: looks like you may a line of severe weather pushing through MS heads up.



Also heads up everyone along the eastern seaboard as the front the is pushing through midwest is on the way. Take a look below
