We're getting really bad flooding here in Lancaster, PA today. This is a covered bridge less than a mile from my house.

One of my biggest fears, is a flood.

Chevy, the temps up here have been around 60 low and 70 high, no humidity. Which has been nice.

@Vulcan: wow I hope that water doesn't swell or "crest" and come anywhere close to your house. Hope everyones ok. Did the bridge make it?

@Liquid: honestly that's gotta be the biggest fire I have seen as I'm use to seeing fire in the Croatan National Forest here in NC and the fire there makes the ones here look like just a dwarf brush fire.

I hope everyone is ok in fires and flooding of the Northeast and Southern parts of the US and for those who are not ok my thoughts and prayers go out to you

Heads Western and Central TN. Ya'll have some severe weather breaking out along the frontal boundary that is moving through. Also looks like possibly more rain for the NE too

Also more lightning producing storms for the Southwest. Best of luck to everyone fighting the fires.

@Chevy...yes it was lovely...I collect rainbow pictures and lee was kind enough to send it to my email so I could place it in my album. How have you been? We've been good here except for too much rain now and again. When I say that, I catch myself and say instead, wouldn't those poor people in Texas with all those fires be grateful to get our rain! Stay well and enjoy whats left of summer. Tomorrow night and fri nite we are getting lows in the 40's and I have to take our outdoor plants in for those nights! I love winter though and I'm a big snow fanatic!

Ive been good. Thanks for asking and i'll be sure to post any rainbow pics i can snap so you can see them and snag them. Ive seen a few this summer but never thought to take a pic as i'm more or less a severe weather and winter weather guy but i got a reason to take more weather pics now :biggrin: haha. Yea those fires are rough out there especially for the front line guys. I will say i am going to love the nighttime lows in the next couple nights. I love the winter and the cold. Hopefully we will get some snow here in East NC this winter. Wish i lived somewhere in the Northeast or out in CO/MT during the winter just to enjoy the snow

Wish our corn fields looked like that here in East NC. Hurricane Irene devistated the crops in the area. I shoulda grabbed some pics if I would have thought about it
