Problem with user dictionary

Hello,

I am having a problem with my user dictionary and didnt know if anyone had the same experience or a solution. I am running BB v0.9 and it seems like every word I type is added to the dictionary. While this may not seem bad, it adds all the capital words (You vs you) when they are typed at the beginning of a sentence. And then if i go to type you in the middle of sentence and type yiu by mistake it goes to You instead of you. and this happens with tons of words, any word i use at the begining of a sentence ever

Thank you for your help

You are not alone. I'm very surprised that this doesn't bother more people here. I find it very annoying, but am starting to get used to it. I do occasionally go in and delete the Initcaps words from the dictionary, and that helps for a while. I wish there was an option not to store them, or for them to at least be in the option list after the all lowercase version. It would also help if you could mark words in the dictionary for deletion and delete them in bulk instead of one by one. Is there a dictionary editing application that would make this easier? I found User Dictionary, but it only allows you delete one word at a time. However, you can export the dictionary to a .db file, edit it with SQL Lite, and then import it back in using User Dictionary. Keep a clean copy of words you want to keep and just import them over the existing dictionary on occasion. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble or not.

Any other ideas?

Finally some one has this same problem.. I only experienced this once going to 2.1. For a while, I just turned off the auto-caps feature, so all my words were in lowercase, but i didnt like that so now, i suffer through the capitalized words always appearing before the lowercase ones
