So he t0ld me that the emulator should be finnished in 2 weeks and that 75% of all psx games should be compatible.

What kind of games wont be compatible?
All I'd like to play is some Crash Bandicoot and some Metal Gear Solid.
Hopefully they will work.

I'm guessing they'll name it psxoid.

I really didnt think it would ever come out but Im very glad that it is.

I would say two weeks= 2 months lol.

Oh and 75% of games compatible, hmmm I hope it isnt any really great games that cant be played.

Hello from ZodTTD! It's been a long time coming but I finally made my way here to the DroidForums.

I really appreciate the support you all have given! I saw the petitiononline and it really motivated me!

I'm sure you all saw the news over at:

I encourage everyone to say a lil hello in the comments there.

I was able to quickly get psx4droid (my working title) running within GameBoid's codebase. Huge thanks to the GameBoid/Nesoid author as well for this.

Here's some info that I just posted the forums...

I still have a lot of games to test but so far so good in compatibility area. I say 3 out of 4 games run but it's higher than that to some degree. With a library of 1000's of games it gets tough to tell. Especially when lots of specific games are wanted and then there's 1000 junk titles.

I now have sound working as well. Needs to be tweaked for sure since it has gaps in it during MDEC (psx movies) playback. Hoping it's a buffering issue, if so it's fixed easily. In fact while typing this I might have figured out why.

My biggest concern is performance. I need to squeeze some more FPS still in games like Ridge Racer. Games like Buster Bros Collection and even Final Fantasy 7 are running well.
