PSX4Droid => General Discussion

While this Emu is amazing due to the sheer fact of what it can do there are some slowdowns and crackling sounds on my Dinc.

These are all .img files. I would be interested to see if anyone has any better luck with different file formats.

I tested using bin files on droid milestone.
Pretty much unplayable at this stage.
If you are lagging with dinc, I dont see much hope for me lol
Refunded/uninstalled for the moment.

After rebooting my phone it played much better with a .iso file. Still have issues using the diagonal keys but i have that issue with every emu for some reason on my Dinc.

droid x runs ffvii rly well. no cracking in sound but the sound does sound "cheap"

other then that tho there was no lag i noticed, ran through a few fight scenes.

on screen controller is something to get used to as well lol....

edit: oh i left the framerate at default, and the game is in .bin format

2.1 Stock.
It had some hitching at first, then I changed the refresh to 30 and it ran fine.

how about sound??? didnt you get a lot of crackling??

not at 30 fps.

now if I could jsut get FF8 working..... All the imgs I've tried wont work. I may have to dig out my discs for that :P

This man is right.i changed from 60, 50 and default fps to 30 and it runs fine now.

I can't get any IMG or ISO files for FFT or FFVII. I got some file that claimed it was an ISO but turned out to be a .rar file and when unzipped it was a .bin.ecm.
