Quick question

Seriously considering upgrading to the Droid X .....

but.

before I do, I have a quick question. will the phone that I'm purchasing have the latest Droid OS? (Droid OS 2.2) ??? or will it be 2.1 and I would have to upgrade it myself?

If the phone you are purchasing is new stock, it should have the latest firmware. If not, I'm sure the phone is programmed to update as soon it is activated. If anything, talk to your local Verizon Wireless store. Have fun and good luck.
