[Release]D1-MIUI-0.11.26.0

I was using Firerat's Apps2EXT script which was really robust. It would bind the /data/app/ and /data/data/ folders to /sd-ext/ effectively tricking the system into thinking any app I would install into internal storage was actually in internal storage, but in reality it was on the ext partition of my SD card.

I'm still debating going back to 0.11.19, where I can easily use it, since I can install a Slayher kernel that supports mounting ext partitions on the SD.

When I flash this build. I'll try doing it with absolute system and get back to you.

Left out?? Guess I have not made it that far....only get a couple hours before a new release comes out. LOL!!!! I did get the Round battery icon flashed and looks awesome. man my wife said I am spending too much time on my phone now. HAHAHA

Absolute System does Apps2EXT? Are you sure, it seems to only do Apps2FAT like Froyo. Let me be clear, I'm not looking to do Apps 2 SD like Froyo, I'm looking to do Apps 2 EXT.

What's the main difference between the 2? They both still move to the SD right?

Oh wow, that's wierd. This ROM changed the way blocks are mounted. They're no longer mmcblk0p0, mmcblk0p2, etc.; now they are mtdblock0, mtdblock2, etc.

Going to have too look at my Apps2EXT see if I can get it working right.

:icon_eek:

Edit: NVM, I figured it out. Forgot that to use Apps2EXT, you need a kernel that supports mounting ext partitions on the SD (Chevyno1 kernels do not, Slayher kernels do). So it looks like I will be unable to use Apps2EXT on this build... Big deal breaker for me...

the NAND partitions have always been mtdblocks (its what they are))

mccblk0 is your sdcard and thats always been that way....

so what is the differance between what Absolute system does moving apps to SD, and apps to ext? I have been using absolute for a while now and love it. tastes good with OJ too...

What is the difference between 11.19 and 11.26?

P.S. I read this entire section up to this page and all that was said is that it is faster so please don't tell me to read the section. The changelog has not been changed either.

I've been backing up and installing since this came out trying to get things to take just right...baby steps, but I think I'm getting it smoothed out.
No redraw at all (fingers crossed) and running the p3 250-1250 with setcpu.
Everyone is happy as can be and I'm feeling the love...time to backup again before I break it...

...sure would love that black boot animation back again. And I'm getting loops when I try the hide clock and debug.
That was sweet when I had it.

...and whatever happened to the Miui browser? I was liking that one and now when I try to run it it keeps wanting to update to Chinese?

Any ideas on how to speed this up and stop redraws? I've tried Zeam, ADW and LP. All redraw frequently and the roms been getting slower each day.

I would keep the stock launcher and forget about the app drawers with LP, ADW, what have you....and get the spare parts app and set the animation settings to fast. Speeds up things nicely. Mine is blazing fast with this newest build.
